Global Missions - Missionaries & Partners

 

UPC missionaries and missionary partners serve Bolivia, Haiti, Panama, Thailand, Myanmar, India, France, Scotland, Russia, Croatia,Per Family missionaries Bosnia, Albania, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Northern Africa.  More sensitive locations include various places in the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia.  We also support personnel who serve globally but are stationed in the United States.
 
Ministry focuses of our personnel include social work, sports ministry, theological education, Scripture translation, medical mission, evangelism, discipleship, AIDS awareness and prevention, education for AIDS orphans, outreach to non-western peoples, Christian broadcasting, construction support, community development, college ministry, reconciliation, business ethics and leadership development.

Home for the Summer - UPC's Overseas Personnel Visit Information 

Paul & Christy Dubois will share about their ministry through Wycliffe Associates in Cameroon at the Africa Interests Group meeting on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. in room 395.  E-mail Maryann Hagen for more information.

Douglas McFalls will be at UPC on Sunday, June 7 to share about working through African Development through Economics and the Arts (ADEA) with local artisans in Kenya and Tanzania.  Join him in Calvin either at 11:30 a.m. or 7 p.m.  Visit www.adeaafrica.org to learn more about the work of ADEA.

Betsy (Elfers) Meyer will share at the Africa Interests Group meeting on Tuesday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. in room 395.  Betsy works with HIV/AIDS victims and their families in South Africa, particularly orphans and vulnerable children.  E-mail Maryann Hagen for more information.
